London School of Jewish Studies: British Museum Pesach Ramble 2020 with Rabbi Dr Raphael Sarum

Bible Studies, History, Jewish Culture, Tanach, Tours

An exciting virtual tour of the museum’s Jewish highlights. Escape the confines of your home and join us for an inspiring ramble around one of the greatest museums in the world, by yourself or with your whole family.

Meet Rameses the Pharaoh, Achashverosh of Persia and Sennacherib the Assyrian. Discover some of the key artefacts that inform and deepen our understanding of the Bible. Bring your Matzah sandwiches for lunch on the way (or breakfast in America, or tea-time in Israel!). And don’t worry, the guide can mute everyone so your matzah munching won’t disturb the tour.

Your guide is Rabbi Dr Raphael Zarum, Dean of LSJS, who has been giving unforgettable tours at the British Museum to thousands of people for over a decade. Have your interest piqued and your questions answered. Treat yourself to a meaningful and fun ramble this year. Adults, students, teenagers and whole families welcome. (And you won’t have to worry about the weather!)

Time: 2pm in the UK (Israel: 4pm; New York: 9am; South Africa: 3pm)
Length : 90 minutes
Fee: £20 per household
